A dark comedy Left Unsaid, originally written by Nick Yu, a National Class One playwright and the director of Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre, has been adapted into a Cantonese play by Mathias Woo. Woo, as the director, teams up with acclaimed producer Joseph Chan and award-winning image director Yee Chung Man. Starring Cecilia Yip, Kenny Wong, David Yeung, and a harmonicist Gordon Lee, the story begins with a neurosurgeon and his neurologist wife, who cannot communicate with each other but converse every moment of the day. One day, the visit of an old school friend reveals an unspeakable secret in the family.
What secrets are left unsaid in everyday life and the impermanence of life? Is it a life beyond words, or is the truth better left unsaid?
